Who I am: Rahul Anand is a senior honors neuroscience student at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is especially passionate about increasing access to quality healthcare and contributes to this through policymaking and neurological research efforts.
What brought me to the academy: I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge and experience from being a TA at the University of Texas at Dallas, to teaching martial arts, to teaching students about the research process through the Journal of Young Investigators. Combined with my research interests in neurodegeneration, I felt that the Waterfall Academy would provide me with the best opportunity to help students with learning differences.
What I did there: I had the wonderful opportunity of teaching math and science, in addition to physical education. I also designed the 1st yearbook for the Waterfall Academy for 2018 - 2019 & 2019-2020 academic years.
My Hobbies/Interests:I enjoy reading, spending time with family/friends, and playing basketball.
